Carousel-like subgrid

Scenario: I have a Student entity. Each student can have one ore more Certificates. Certificate entity has an image field, where I upload scan of the certificate. By default, I can add a subgrid to my Student form to show all certificates of Student. However, I would like to have a "carousel" view of Student certificates: thumbnail image (scan of certificate) on top, attributes below the thumbnail.
